POST 8 : "Healthcare system"

Hello everyone, in this blog I'm going to write about the unfair health system in Chile. I give myself the right of say it because I live with an uncle who works in Indisa's Clinic.

Every time that a member of my family needs treatments or medical consults, my uncle calls his contacts and like art magic they are attended, this is favorable for us, and we don't think two times before say yes and get medical answer to our diseases but what about the people that wait a lot of time for be attended. Our "privileged situation" works by the hand of huge unfair.

Similarly, people with good economic situation have more accessibility to high quality health services, because they could pay for it and if you don’t have enough money, you must get patient for waiting for public health service, which highlights because of its eternal waiting lists.

It is outrageous, always depends on different kind of factors, you need somebody that could help you at the cost of disrespecting others or almost of compulsory way, you must have enough money to pay for it, anyways Chilean healthcare system isn't fair for nothing.

  1. Hello, I agree about the deficiencies of the public system and how everything revolves around how much money you have to pay for decent health

  2. The waiting list problem is unbelievable, I can't believe that you have to wait so long for a treatment in a country that is supposedly so advanced :/
